Commercializing technology is a very complex process that can go down many different paths. CDMA is helping members to maximize the science and the art of the process with networking and learning. Part of that is building a constellation of interwoven organizations and people – our affiliates and association alliances.
Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) - PDMA is the premier global advocate for product development and management professionals. Its mission is to improve the effectiveness of individuals and organizations in product development and management. This is accomplished by providing resources for professional development, information, collaboration and promotion of new product development and management techniques. The development of new products and services involves an integrated set of unique activities; PDMA focuses on addressing this challenge by providing the opportunities for professional development, education, experience, networking and recognition.
Société de Chimie Industrielle - The mission of the American Section of the Societe is "to aid and encourage the utilization of scientific and engineering developments by the industry, and promotion of chemistry in public opinion, especially among the young and in the education system." The Section sponsors a monthly luncheon speaker program at which prominent executives, government leaders and scientists share their views on important industry developments. It also grants fellowships and scholarships to students pursuing the study of chemistry; and honors individuals who have contributed significantly to the industry.
American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE) - AIChE is the world’s leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with more than 40,000 members from 93 countries. AIChE has the breadth of resources and expertise needed by professional engineers in both core process industries and emerging areas such as nanobiotechnology. Members access information on recognized and promising chemical engineering processes and methods and connect with a global network of intelligent, resourceful colleagues and their shared knowledge. AIChE offers learning opportunities from recognized authorities, helping engineers to move forward professionally and enrich the world in which we live.
Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) - Every day the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) helps people and companies in the plastics industry succeed, strengthening skills and promoting plastics through seminars, conferences, training, special interest groups, and technical journals. SPE is the only place where people from all parts of the industry can come together around important issues and technologies. For over 60 years, SPE has made a significant difference to the technologies and innovations the plastics industry enjoys today. In the process, we've developed a 20,000-member network of leading engineers, scientists and other plastics professionals, including technicians, salespeople, marketers, retailers and representatives from tertiary industries.
ChemPharma - The ChemPharma(R) professional association is a nation-wide organization of business and technical executives in the Chemical, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical and allied industries committed to the advancement of such industries through the exchange of information, educational programs and personal contact fostering career and business development.
Members have 10 or more years of experience in their field, typically have held the title of director (or equivalent) or higher, and have earned executive level salaries; they come from virtually all technical / professional disciplines and functions.
CDMA Educational Foundation - The Educational Foundation offers CDMA members opportunities to learn new strategies and techniques for transforming emerging technology into profitable new products and businesses. The goal is to identify, develop, document, and teach best practices in commercial development to create new, profitable growth in the chemical, life sciences, materials, petrochemical and other related industries. Educational programs are presented at CDMA national meetings and as stand-alone events and bring together experts from our membership and from other scientific, engineering, and business organizations to advance the practice of commercial development.

Adhesive and Sealant Council, Inc (ASC) - A leading marketplace for the exchange of information about products and services and interfacing among manufacturers, suppliers and others in the industry. American Chemical Society (ACS) - With more than 160,000 members, about 60% from industry, the American Chemical Society (ACS) is the world’s largest scientific society and one of the world’s leading sources of authoritative scientific information. A nonprofit organization, chartered by Congress, ACS is at the forefront of the evolving worldwide chemical enterprise and the premier professional home for chemists, chemical engineers and related professions around the globe. American Chemistry Council (ACC) - The American Chemistry Council is the voice of the US Chemical Industry. ACC represents the chemical industry on public policy issues, coordinates the industry's research and testing programs, and administers the industry's environmental, health, and safety performance improvement initiative, known as Responsible Care. From testimony to legislation to opinion papers and fact sheets, ACC is working to protect the environment, public health, and the security of our nation, promoting healthy and safe chemistry for the future.

Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF) - Established by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), had its origins in 1982.
