S-PaSS works on a web portal. It allows travelers to visit provinces and cities where travel restrictions are in place. This system was developed by the Department of Science and Technology VI to help people safely travel in the Philippines during the swine flu pandemic. S-PaSS is being launched on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 3:30 PM. The event will be live streamed via DOST-Philippines’ Facebook page. It is expected to be attended by high-level officials from the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Interior and Local Government, and the League of Provinces and Cities of the Philippines. It will also be broadcasted on DOST-Philippines’ Twitter account. Moreover, media will be invited to attend the launch.
